The adventures of two amphibians make a fun and enjoyable read for its audience. The children’s book “Frog and Toad Are Friends” contains several short stories about the adventures and everyday life of two friends. The five stories discuss the interactions and the friendship of the frog and toad during the change of seasons, when frog becomes ill one day, a day of swimming, and a letter toad wrote when seeing his friend the frog is sad.
The book shows children that even though a frog and toad are very similar in their appearances they are also very unique in many ways. The short stories found within the book about friendship are easy to read with plots that engage the reader.

illustrations within the book are very well drawn and use neutral colors that
are warm and welcoming to its audience.
